<font size="5" color="Red"><b>Richard "Dixie" Atkinson</b></font> <font color="#FDC500">Richard "Dixie" Atkinson has spent over 40 years as a photographer. He received his formal technical training in photography at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. He then rounded his training by earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a minor in photography from Ladycliff College in New York state. He attributes his "eye" to his education in the arts. He specializes in scenics and landscapes. He currently has on-line galleries from Yellowstone NP, Grand Teton NP, Great Smoky Mountains NP, Yosemite NP, Mesa Verde NP, Joshua Tree NP, Zion NP, Death Valley NP and various other national and state parks in Alabama, California, Georgia, New Mexico, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Utah, Virginia and West Virginia. More photographs will be added to these existing galleries over time as well as the addition of new galleries.
